Wow what a place. Been to this restaurant 6 times in 30 days. It's the best & freshest food. They have the best seafood risotto I've ever tasted @The pizza is too die for. I have to say for a small family business this place really stacks up to the likes of Beppis. The service is great as well.

Had an amazing experience here for mother's day! The staff were welcoming, and extremely attentive. My mum was thrilled with the up-beat attitudes of all members. The food was to die for! We had the famous wood-fire pizza, and a Brodetto to share. The seafood was delicious and fresh! The owner, and chef came up to us to ensure we enjoyed all the food and it was clear he is very passionate about his work and cuisine! highly recommend any of the seafood dishes, and the fish special. All around a great night, mum was happy, and we will be coming here again soon!

“Early Mother's Day Dinner”

A restaurant in the main street of Cammeray, unassuming from the front, tiny in dimensions as you walk in which made me think it was a small restaurant, but I hear it goes upstairs as well. Next time I'll check it out! And there will be a next time!
OMG. This dish my Husband and Daughter had, was absolutely divine - Pollo Ripieno - pan-fried organic chicken breast, stuffed with spinach and mascarpone cheese, served on roast potato and porcini mushroom sauce.
I had the Piccata al limone - Veal Scaloppine in lemon and white wine sauce, served with mashed potato. The veal was succulent and tender, the lemon sauce magnifico. We shared an Italian salad.
It smelled so good and I was so hungry I forgot to take pics, next time :)
For desert we shared 3: choice of 3 Gelato - Hazlenut chocolate and Pistashio - my fave was the chocolate and Hazlenut.
We also had: Crepes alla Nutella with cream & strawberries - the crepes were to die for, flavoursome and delicate.
The Vanilla Panacotta was superb. I can't think I've had one so delightful before.
As I said, we'll definitely go back.

“Excellent Pizza - a touch of Tuscany.”

If you have ever enjoyed eating a pizza in Florence Italy then there is no need for you to travel there any more as Amici has brought the taste of Tuscany to Cammeray. A good pizza menu not too large but there is something for all taste buds. The service is good and prices are reasonable .

WONDERFUL ITALIAN FOOD”

Amici's never fails. Owner, Sergio, provides food that is absolutely delicious. Our visitor from the US said it was one of the best Italian restaurants he has been to. We have been going there for several years, even held a party for 40 people upstairs and all our guests raved about the food. The staff are so attentive and service provided on every visit is excellent. I rate that restaurant the best in Cammeray.

“Great Pizza and consistently good food”

I had dinner at Amici with a few friends the other night. I shared a seafood pizza with a friend for starters it was really good with the dough thin and slightly blackened by the wood fired oven the calamari on top as well as the mussels and prawns were all cooked perfectly. I had the rib eye steak as did another friend on the bone which was a special and this was very good cooked perfectly and served with a peppercorn sauce. My friend had the veal with lemon which he pronounced fabulous. We had a plate of bread which was great. for desert we had the special sticky date pudding with one of us having the tiramisu. The sticky date pudding was excellent though not exactly an Italian desert. It was a very good dining experience and I will definately go back again.

The meal we had here was superb. The staff were very attentive just to the right amount. The food, the wine, the Affogato was divine. Pure quality with not over the top prices. Would definitely recommend a visit to this Restaurant

From the moment we stepped in to the restaurant we were made to feel welcome. Our waitress was friendly and efficient and delightful. Sitting near the open pizza certainly was a plus on a cold night. We were undecided about our choice of food - so much to choose from that the chef came to advise us. He was fantastic - great sense of humour, hospitable and helpful. We were thrilled with his advice and all 4 of us had excellent meals. The grilled barramundi was superb and cooked to perfection - not to mention that there were 2 pieces of fish not your standard one fillet. The fresh bread that accompanied some of the meals was outstanding. The gelato was delicious. The hot chocolate was "real" thick and rich. If you visit one restaurant in Cammeray ensure that it is Amici you won't be disappointed. It is unpretentious and welcoming.

probably one of the best experiences in Italian food in the lower north shore!!! Sergio selection of authentic Italian plates is worth the visit. great for pizza too!! a restaurant worth trying. All the staff members are extremely courteous and kind.

Amici is the best Italian in Sydney,the owner Sergio learned the art of making Pizzas in Napoli for 10 years and so as pizzas go they're the best, well for me anyway, everyone has their favourite pizza base but for me Amici's is perfect, topped off with fresh ingredients it's hard to fault. It gets busy at peak times on Fridays and Saturdays so if you're in a hurry maybe these aren't the best times for you so maybe choose a less busy time, but it's lively and most of all good simple food done well. We'll keep returning.

Good food, excellent service and just a damn good time, make us a family of 3 continue to return time and time again. Pizzas are just delicious and the mushroom risotto is excellent. Sergio the owner is also on hand to greet you warmly and even has time to sit down and have a chat to you... we are never rushed and its always a pleasure to return. Well done Amicis

“Best Italian in town”

After moving into the area (Cammeray) we ventured up to the main strip to grab a meal. Amici had been recommended to us and for very good reasons! Great service, fantastic menu and a genuine Italian family owned vibe. Nothing like enjoying good local company over a bowl of pasta and a pizza with the pizza oven fire crackling in the background.
This has become a regular thursday night spot for us.
Great job Sergio!!

“A little slice of heaven”

We recently moved to Cammeray and found this beautiful restaurant, Amici up the road from our apartment. We have now gone at least 10 times in just 2 months because the food is so amazing (they even know us now!). The staff are lovely, service is exceptional & most importantly, the food is absolutely the most authentic, delicious Italian cuisine that I have had since my last trip to Italy in 2011. I could not recommend this restaurant more highly. It has a relaxed, fun atmostphere, beautiful wine list and an array of dishes to suit anyone's palate.

“Fabulous, fabulous every single time!”

We have been dining at Amici's for a good while now. As Europeans this is authentic Italian food. The pizzas are superb, pastas are dreamy and Affogato and Tirimisu are superb. What makes our evenings that extra special is the warm and affectionate greeting we receive every time from the owner Sergio and his superb wait staff. Sergio is always on hand and takes the time to come and chat and welcome you to his restaurant, at times we feel we are just dining at his home! Atmosphere is great and is perfect for families. We can't rate this pizzeria highly enough.. We are never disappointed...

“Don't Miss This Authentic Italian Restaurant”

Sergio is the owner of the restaurant and also the chef! His flair and love of cooking is certainly shown in all the well thought out dishes on the menu. My favorite is Spaghetti Vongle.  The Pizza's are second to none, so tasty and the variety is fabulous! It's BYO and also licensed. Service is very very good, nothing over looked and you are not kept waiting. His food is fresh, tasty and authentic. It's like going to your friends house who is an Italian for some wonderful home style cooking. You'd swear Nonna was in the kitchen!
There is a private room upstairs for functions of which we have had many! We had a great night with unreal service and fabulous food!
Don't miss this restaurant you won't be disappointed!

“Not just the best pizza in town!”

We have been ordering take-away pizza from Amici for quite some time; it's the closest thing to authentic Roman pizza we've found in Sydney. Amici uses fresh ingredients, an authentic pizza base and a wood fired pizza oven to create a masterpiece every time. 
On occasion, my wife and I have dined in. The pasta is excellent. The service is excellent. The ambiance? Very good. And the prices reasonable. We are both somewhat critical of restaurant food, but Amici has never failed to deliver a wonderful culinary experience. My favorite dish? Amici has a hearty octopus dish - very tender, in a tomato-based sauce.
